ITAR Services
Shop NowThe International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) are a set of US provisions to ensure that there is stringent control over the exportation and movement of sensitive, defence related (directly or indirectly) articles and related data and information. The intention of this legislation is to protect US technology utilised/related to the military sphere and to regulate and control its dissemination. The United States Munitions List (USML) specifies 21 categories of goods; materials; technology and information that is regulated under ITAR and the Arms Export Control Act (AECA) this covers those parties that export/import; manufacture; sell or operate as brokers for defence related equipment. A key facet of ITAR is that for any of the parties involved, control throughout the supply chain is of critical importance to ensure compliance.
